Royal Jordanian Falcons Display Sequence 2011

The team begins their display from the left of the spectators with (1/4 cloverleaf) in a (box) formation, adjusting themselves to come parallel with the display line.

Once parallel with the display line the team performs a (barrel roll to the right) then the wing men moves forward to fly (line abreast) changing to a (T-shape) formation to perform (T-loop).

Upon coming out of the T loop the wing men move back to (box) formation as the team pulls up for (1/2 Cuban to inverted dive) followed by a -3G’s push then a +4G’s pull while maintaining box formation This last manoeuvre is extremely demanding, as the pilots all maintain close formation whilst flying under intense negative and positive pressure!

The team then will do a (1/4 cloverleaf) to the right to adjust them selves for the next manoeuvre, the (concord vertical split).

The slot pilot, Nofan, remains with the spectators as the formation regroups, displaying a combination of unlimited aerobatics for (90 sec).

The other three aircraft approach the spectators in (line abreast) formation at a (45 degree) angle. The solo pilot exits by flying through the formation with (a zoom up) to the vertical. Then the three-ship perform the (line abreast loop).

The three-ship formation change to (Vic) formation performing a (loop) towards the spectators, followed by a (barrel roll).

The wing men move forward to fly (line abreast) with the leader in preparation for the next extremely demanding manoeuvre - the (hammer head stall).

As they pull out of the dive the team will change the formation to mirror formation while the left wing man barrel rolls around them.

The slot pilot will be displaying again a combination of unlimited aerobatics for (20 sec).
The 3 ship formation   will perform a (¼ Clover leaf to the right) towards the spectators adjusting them selves with the display access going away.

The three-ship returns with a (½ Cuban) in preparation for the spectacular (Hashemite break) – the Falcons signature manoeuvre, which the team is always extremely proud of performing.

The leader then pulls up to the vertical while the wingmen cross each other; then both will pull up for (a roll) in the vertical followed by a (stall turn). The wingmen will next approach each other for a (head on knife edge pass).

The (solo) pilot makes a head on entry in front of the spectators from above, as the three-ship formation exits. Nofan will then perform another combination of unlimited aerobatics lasting for (2 min).

The three-ship formation returns from the left or right (depending on wind direction), for a (head on pass) with the solo pilot, followed by a quick rejoin to become a four-ship.

The team will then adjust for the last demanding and impressive manoeuvre the (slow roll in box formation).

Finally the team positions with (¼ cloverleaf) for the final (concord break).
